Factory Karts and Chris G's Coaching Partnership on road to SKUSA Supernats

PHOENIX, Arizona | July 9, 2026

Factory Karts today announces a partnership with Chris G's Coaching that puts founder Chris Giumarra back in the seat on American-built steel, for a run at the SKUSA SuperNationals 29 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, November 11 to 15, with a single objective: Win.

The approach came from Factory Karts, as the brand looked for a driver to carry its story into karting's most competitive week. Factory Karts wanted someone with real pace and real credibility in the community, which it has found with Giumarra. Under the partnership, Giumarra returns to competition with the Factory Karts team behind him, for a focused run at one of the most demanding events in international karting. The two sides will document the full buildup, from early testing and setup work at the Factory Karts manufacturing facility in Phoenix, and share the journey, training, and preparation required to compete at the highest level in the sport.

The partnership also pairs Giumarra's coaching practice with the Factory Karts brand at a time when driver fitness and preparation are drawing more attention across the paddock. As technically demanding as the sport is evolving, the karting cockpit is still controlled by the athlete - the driver. Giumarra has built an expansive program with this coaching platform, working with athletes across karting, and the partnership will provide a direct look at what a serious effort to compete at this level looks like.

"When Factory Karts gave me a call, it didn't take long to decide. I get to compete with the support from people I trust, on equipment manufactured in America, and bring my community along for every step of it. This is my chance to walk the walk, sharing the journey and everything it takes to get there."  - Chris Giumarra, founder, Chris G's Coaching

"We’ve been exploring a program like this for quite some time and didn’t want a name for the sake of a name. We went looking for a real competitor who understands preparation and is already respected by our community, and Chris is exactly that. Bringing him back to compete on our equipment, and doing so out in the open for the entire community to see over the months ahead, is the kind of story that showcases our operation here at American Kart Manufacturers." - Justin Stefani, president, American Kart Manufacturers/Factory Karts

The SKUSA SuperNationals draws many of the world's fastest kart racers to Las Vegas each year. Giumarra will contest the Masters class, one of the categories that pits the paddock's veteran drivers against one another. Factory Karts will share campaign updates across its channels, and Giumarra will produce behind-the-scenes and training content for his own audience throughout the buildup. As the summer season is in full swing, please stay tuned for additional updates on the program’s product and driver developments.

Unpacking the factory karts difference We know you have questions about the engineering and materials that go into our karts—and while some of our production secrets have to stay proprietary, we're thrilled to shed some light on what makes the new Factory Karts chassis truly special. Just like a perfect racing setup, great performance isn't about one single component; it’s the culmination of every touchpoint, material choice, and process perfectly timed and managed. Our approach is simple: Every single detail is carefully selected and controlled to ensure the finished product delivers the fit, finish, and performance every serious Factory Karts driver demands. The Shifter Chassis: Precision-Built for Performance Our flagship Shifter Chassis is a masterpiece of materials engineering. It is produced singularly from 1.250 tubing but features a calculated mix of materials across the frame platform. This strategic blend is key to achieving optimal driver feel, grip, and balance , leading to both the best possible lap times and superior ease of driving. The new Shifter 2.0 model boasts over 60 distinct changes from its predecessor.
